Competitive auditions for piano, instrumental, and voice students across New Mexico. A tradition of excellence that inspires generations of young musicians.
Dear students, teachers and parents,
Welcome to the 2025 New Mexico Honors competition! The Honors Auditions were designed to encourage students to study, prepare, and present recital caliber repertoire in a polished performance.
Participants have the opportunity to perform before qualified judges who provide careful and constructive criticism. The state winners perform on a Student Winners' Recital during the PMTNM Conference.
The competition rules are in Section XI, Part 4 of the PMTNM handbook. I look forward to another great event and witnessing the incredible talent and dedication of our New Mexico music students.
"The goal is not just to compete, but to grow as musicians and performers through the preparation and experience."
