PMTNM Decimal Classification System

Digital Library

About the System

Two Series. One Library.

PMTNM organizes all documents and resources using a decimal classification system modeled on Dewey Decimal — permanent numbers that locate every document within the broader structure of the organization's knowledge.

100–900 series covers official governance documents: bylaws, ethics code, committee duties, membership policy, finance, and history.

1100–1900 series covers member-curated resource collections: theory tools, sheet music, pedagogy guides, technology, professional development, and research.

100–900 Series

Governance & Member Documents

Official PMTNM documents — constitution, bylaws, code of ethics, officer duties, membership information, competition rules, finance, and organizational history.

1100–1900 Series

Member-Curated Resource Collections

Shared lists of links, tools, scores, and research maintained by PMTNM members — organized into 9 categories from music theory (1100) to research & scholarship (1900).
